not so bad,not so good.It has surely a very good location,near the bairrio alto,commercial streets. and central places. you have to do a steep climb to reach it...but it's normal in a city like Lisbon!!
i suggest to ask for a room on the upper floors; they haven't lift it's true,but these rooms are more quite than the down are.I suggest also to choose a room with toilet and shower;I had one without and it was littler than the other i could see and without a wardrobe,just a chest of drawers and two bedside tables.Unfortunately walls and doors aren't too much big,so you can hear your room's neighbour talking and you have to speak softly if you don't want to be heard.
The staff is quite friendly, but person at the hall changes during the day,and sometime there was a man quite unfriendly.a woman whom we asked the pleasure to call our pension at Oporto,obliged us to pay about 3 euros for 1 minut call.not honest,I think.
Anyway added all,we have a pleasent stay there,above all for its cheap cost.
