a room with a waterbed
it's a simple 2 stars hotel/guesthouse near maquis pombal - no frills but clean - a tv set -no breakfast - and an occasionally not very nice staff. However it's cheap, the location is good, and it has some rooms with waterbeds or round beds
Unique Quality: The waterbed - it's the reason why we chose residencial marisela over other places. The rooms was small but ok - with tacky mirros on walls with painted bamboo shoots and leaves on them - but the waterbed was heavenly. The room cost only 4o euros

1 night in Lisbon
We will be flying to Brazil from Sweden in December and will have 1 night in Lisbon. Could anyone advice of a good and not too expensive hostel with a good location, not far from either the airport or the city?

there is a nice hostel at the expo 98 site.
it's quite close to the airport.

i stayed at the residencial marisela...not exactly next to the airport, but the bus to the airport is just a couple of blocks away.

but then again, if it's only an overnight wait for your next flight, consider just sleeping inside the airport terminal...i kinda enjoyed that one night i slept at the lisbon airport...really nice place...actually much better than some hotels/hostels that i've slept in.

theres a hotel called Aganadi, its 2 km from the airport very good prices, its run by a greek couple who are lovley, its a must see.
