Value for Money, 3-star Hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights in late May 2009 and we order a twin/double room. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. They provided good information and tips about how to get to places.
Unique Quality: The room was nice and comfortable - good size but on the small side - with nice modern touches - e.g. flat screen TV with satellite channels, soft lighting, modern decor and bathroom. The air-conditioning was OK but can be a problem when the weather gets very warm/hot in late June-July-August.
The breakfast was average with small selection of bread rolls, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, juice and water. The tea, coffee and hot water were self-serviced served in thermos.

Great price/quality rate
Sana Executive lies about halfway between the airport and downtown Lisbon. The metro is at 7-10 minutes walking distance beneath the shopping mall El Corte Inglès. Sana is situated in a dead end street and has nine floors, three of which are non smoking. The lack of car traffic noise is compensated by planes on final for the landing on Lisbon International. This, and the (too) small breakfast area are the only minus points we could find. Breakfast itself is - unusually for southern European countries - abundantly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room (on the 8th floor) was spacious and clean with a well equiped bathroom (great shower!).
Sana is rated with two stars on this website: I'd give it three at least.
If you - like us - don't feel like going "all the way" downtown again at night after strolling all day through Lisbon: there are enough good (and cheaper!) restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Sana.
Unique Quality: Nothing unique at this hotel: just a fine place to stay.
