Excellent Location

I would highly recommend staying here! The loaction was superb, about a 5 min walk from the Metro station (S.Sebastiao stop) which is about 5-10min ride to Baixa/Barro Alto/Chaido), also very close to a big shopping centre. It was a bit of a mission trying to find the place - but only due to the fact that there was a very misleading sign pointing in totally the wrong direction to the hotel! We took the Aero-bus (3euro) there and from the stop it should only be about an easy 10min walk.

Service was really good there, all the employees spoke fairly good english and were very helpful with directions to places we wanted to go. Their breakfast service is excellent too - lots of choice, everything is fresh and tasty (worth taking some of the rolls for lunch if you want to do lisbon on the cheap...!).

The pool on the roof isnt that big - but definately an adequate size. Really sunny up there and nice loungers to sit on all afternoon! The room is pretty basic (no tea making facilities which is a shame) but comfortable. Clean bathroom which is always a biggy for me. And the room was perfectly serviced everyday. The air-con wasnt great, but we were able to open a window so we didnt have too much trouble sleeping. Also the roadworks tend to go on all night (werid!) but we were usually so tired we didnt notice these either.

If I was back in Lisbon, I would stay here without hesitation! Book direct with their website and you will probably get the best deal (http://www.sanarenohotel.com)

very nice 3 star hotel.

the sana reno hotel is a 3 star hotel that should probaply have the forth star.
it strikes me more as a 4 star than a 3 star hotel.
it's quite classy and the rooms are very spacious compared to other lisbon hotels.
there is also a roof top pool at the hotel.
the location of the hotel is not the greatest unless you have something to do in that part of town, but all in all i think the place is very nice.
