The hotel opened its doors in 1981 and is located just down from the National Palace.
Listed as a 4 star, their rooms have their own bathrooms with hairdryers. All rooms have a safe, TV, mini-bar and airconditioning. The hotel also has a restaurant with a lovely view out to the hills.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
It may have an unappealing 70's style appearance but this hotel has large, well laid out air conditioned bedrooms; very comfortable beds; pleasant public rooms and there is plenty of choice at breakfast. The rooms at the front have a close up view of National Palace, this is nice but there can be a bit of noise at night so, if you can, get one of the quieter rooms at the back which overlook the valley and the Quinta da Regaleira.
Unique Quality: The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the town and the surrounding sights.

Lovely Hotel In Sintra
It is a lovely hotel in the centre of the old town. The location couldn't be better.
Unique Quality: We had a mini suite for the same price as a regular hotel room. We probably just got lucky. Our little sitting room had a beautiful panoramic of the Serra de Sintra. It was absolutely breathtaking.
