TO THE AIRPORT - PART OF THE SOL GROUP
You might think this place is the only hotel in the city. It may well be. It’s still an excellent hotel for the money. As you enter the town you will see signs at every roundabout (traffic circle) for this hotel. I booked this large hotel on the internet for its value, reputation and location. After a long driving holiday in Portugal I did not want to pay high Lisbon prices for no parking hotels the night before I flew out. This place is ideal. 20 minutes south of the airport, no traffic ever and a great price with free parking across the whole town. It’s essentially in a completely residential are, but there are cafes and a huge grocery store. No great restaurants, but who cares?
I got my excellent room for 50 Euros. I stayed in room 421, which was a handicapped room. I had 2 excellent beds, satellite TV, a large bath, mini-bar, safe, large closets and a quiet night. They have a restaurant, bar with sports, internet (during the day only), car rental and a great reception desk.
All in all, a great stay close to the airport with no hassles!
