Blue and Green - Tróia Design Hotel: Nice 5 stars

Blue and Green Troia Design Hotel is a brand new and excellent hotel. Opened in 2009 is in front of the marina of Tróia and close to the beach. Has a big convention centre and in a nearby future a casino (probably still in 2009). Having 5 stars and 15 floors it is quite a big hotel with more than 200 rooms. It was done of the constrution leftovers of a 70's hotel that had never been finished due to the financial difficulties that stroke the company that managed Tróia in that time.
The hotel is full of modern decorations, plain and simple and that remind slightly the Porto Sheraton. The main piece is in the lobby and is a huge glistening shoe done of kitchen pots. The hotel has several restaurants, a 1.200 sqm spa, kids club, swimming pools, etc.
The facade is quite provocative with a look of waves in the varandas and a lightning system that attracts attentions.
