The hotel “felt” grubby, my room seemed to be where they’d dumped all the odd bits of furniture that they didn’t know what else to do with, breakfast a sad affair, dinner very over-priced on the one occasion I had it, one of the people on the front desk unfriendly (but the other was OK), a depressing view from the bedroom window room of the other side of a dirty, narrow street, bar with nobody in it (and no barman – if you want a drink the duty-receptionist comes to serve you)… Its only good point is its location. Needs (or it needed - Nov 2009) complete refurbishment.
