This hotel was great value for money. It is a little north of the city centre, but the walk into town is very nice. It's close to the subway as well.
Unique Quality: It doesn't have any really outstanding qualities, but it's just a nice place to stay. The breafast spread is fantastic and the barmen are willing to serve you a little Port wine after the bar officially closes. If you really express interest, they may even give you a little glass of 20 year old tawny on the house!
We were in Portugal for two weeks, visiting three parts of the country - starting from Albufeira, then Lisbon and finally Porto. Then we were supposed to return to Albufeira and from there in a couple of days to fly home. The hotel was so wonderful that we decided to stay longer there!
The personal was very helpful and nice. We even were allowed to use their computer to try to cancel our reservation in Albufeira.
Breakfast in the hotel was very good and rich, very good prices for the specialities for the dinner in their restaurant.
Unique Quality: Very new hotel with up-to-date equiped rooms.
