Estalagem Santo André: Fantastic hotel close to the beach

We stayed at Estalagem Santo André for the first six nights of our Euro2004-trip, and had a great time there. The hotel is situated 50 meters from the beach, which was perfect for us. The personal on the hotel was incredible friendly, everyone from the old bartender, to the nice girls in the reception.
Our double-rooms were big with enough space to move around, and were cleaned everyday.
The restaurant were really nice, although a bit expensive (to be Portugal, compared to all other western countries the prices were really low...) and also the bar.
But the best part of the place was definately the pool-area. We just stepped out of our rooms, and were in the pool... And then another 50 meters, and we were on the beach...

Unique Quality: The pool, as I wrote above, was placed perfect, right outside our rooms. But what I remember maybe even more is the friendlyness from the personal. A friendlyness from hotel-people I met only in Thailand before.
