Minichoro apartments are clean and very spacious. We had a safe which we paid for but that saves the worry of carrying your money and passports around so for peace of mind get one. These apartments are not far from the strip but far enough away to be able to relax in.You cross over a bridge with some eating places and bars on it, there is a small supermarket just on the other side.
These apartments are large and spacious and the kitchen area's well stocked so you can cook if you wish. The pool is large and clean and the shop/snackbar provides food and drink all day. In 10 years a lot can change. When we were there the sea-water pool and bar were under construction and our room was very pretty and had a bathroom, but no fridge or kettle. I see on the website that rooms have a fridge now. The bed was very hard - I don't know what the beds are like now.
In spite of it's location next to the railway bridge, noise didn't keep us awake as the trains did not run after about 9 or 10pm. It was a pleasant walk of about 5 minutes into town. by ncfg The Hotel Avenida is located on the heart of Viseu town at Rossio place. It is a nice small and traditional hotel with a friendly staff. You have a computer with internet access for free use and free WIFI connection in the whole hotel. From the hotel you can explore the historical centre by foot. I made my reservation on their website and i didn't pay for advance.

This hotel has to be THE best hotel we've stayed in our trip to Portugal. Although it is located in a small town about half an hour's drive to Coimbra, I would recommend this to anyone who wish to have a romantic stay in Portugal. This is a boutique hotel converted from a 16th century palace and I must say the renovation and conservation works were very tastefully done. The staff were friendly and very helpful and it's one of the very few places where the hotel staff actually smiles! At least at the front desk! I chose a room in the new wing and was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and size of the room. There was a small living area with TV and a small dining table. The bedroom was also quite spacious and it had the feel of a little studio apartment. I must say that I was very happy to have found a gem! I have been to this hotel x 3 and the Rocamar x 3 these are both in the the old part of Albuferia but after 6 trips to there I decided to try the new town known as The Strip I stayed at Clube Praia De Oura but I will not go there again it lacked the charm of the old town and it did not feel inviting enough for me.
The Do Cerro and Clube Praia De Oura have pools and sauna facilities but the Rocamar has use of the sea.

The Radisson SAS Hotel Lisbon it is a 4 * hotel and it is situated just 10 minutes from the city centre, and only 5 minutes from Lisbon International Airport and it is a short walk away from Campo Grande metro station. Camping Comillas by kloot The place is wide and has two different location: one right upon a cliff and the other (on the other side of the street) is bigger and more quiet. Comillas is a bit damp so it's not easy to get dry after a shower or after a sea bath and it is harder in this camp beautifully surrounded by trees. Beaches are wide with cliffs and hills all around and green grass lawns are very near.
Near the beach. Lot of places. Clean.

Hospedaje Santa Cruz by into-thin-air My preferred accommodation for Santiago de Compostela is Hospedaje Santa Cruz. This excellent little pension is right in the centre of Santiago de Compostela on Rua du Vilar (The same street as the Compostela office) and a stones throw away from the cathedral. Simple twin bedded rooms cost a very reasonable 30 euro. Ask for room 6 – I won’t tell you why, just trust me on that one ;-) As usual, it might be worthwhile booking in advance during busy periods Theme: Pension/GuesthousePrice: less than US$20 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: Rua du VilarPhone: 981 582362

Sign for the Albergue at Teo by into-thin-air We passed the signpost for the Albergue at Teo but didn’t actually go up to it as it is slightly off the route so again I don’t have any details but if you were wanting to split your route differently or If you wanted to arrive in Santiago de Compostela in the morning then this might well be a good option as it’s only 12k away Theme: Other
