MADEIRA is a small island in the OCEAN and belongs to PORTUGAL . It located near the CANARY ISLANDS and is called the GREEN ISLAND .

This has been our first hotel on the beautiful green island .

It seems to be the way to haven . YES indeed , if you walk along this numerous ways , you often have breathless views by nice wether .

This has been the view of our WALKING TOUR .

On the left you can see the WALKING WAY .

PICO DO ARIEIRO , one the highest points of MADEIRA .
HER you can start for nice WALKING TOURS .
There are many ways with breathtaking views .

In the mountain area the weather could be not so good in MARCH !! We want to see the PLATEAU of the MOUNTAIN AREA . It should bee very nice , but we have had both times such weather ! :-(((
