VERY limited internet access that has to be begged.
Ask for Ecoteca which is above the village in the Botanical Garden.
There are no public access points as of June 06.
Ecoteca up on the hill to the right of Town (in botanical gardens) may allow access.

During the reglious festivites during the end of May there are constant explosions from LARGE fire crackers that go off at all hours. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

A very beautiful laid back place. Just what I needed.

NOTE: July 06, The Village center, that is under my balcony came to a frenetic and noisy life when the Festival season started in July. !Bring ear plugs again!

Unique Quality: Urselina Silva is a lovely Lady (limited English) who rents rooms on the top floor of her home.
There is space for +/- 12 in three rooms. 2 multi bed'ed rooms, 1 single bed room.
Shared Kitchen, Living room and Bathroom.
Separate entrance.
