Stayed for a week and found this four star hotel peaceful, very modern and pleasant. It's located near the marina and we had a good seaview from our balcony. There is some traffic but it doesn't cause too much disturbance. However, I expect there to be more traffic later, when they get the new marina construction ready and the road work done and the strand boulevard is opened for the whole stretch. This is a green island, but you hardly see anything green from the balconies of this hotel.
The whale watching boats are leaving from just in front of Marina Atlantico and there are some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. There's a small shopping mall nearby but the bigger mall is far away at the other side of town (I wouldn't say within walking distance). The breakfast buffet at this hotel was ok, but they could have had more variation during the week.
There are very good services: hairdresser and beauty salon, indoor heated swimming pool, turkish bath, gym and sauna. However, the sauna's weren't heated when we were there. It's not nice to go to a room temperature sauna and wait for it to get warm!
