Brilliant 3 star hotel in a good location.
Vila Nova Hotel is a relatively small hotel in the center of Ponta delgada and a really good choice if you want to be in the center and want a middle class hotel with good facilities.
The rooms are pretty ordinary but certainly ok.
Very decent breakfast for a middle class hotel with exactly what i am looking for.
Nice little heated pool in the back where they also have a small fitness room and a nice common area with a put and take bookshelf.
The place is pretty laid back and perfect for someone like me who wants to stay in a centrally located place and do not care for big flashy places.
