Hotel MD: Nice hotel in Bar

We arrived in Bar with no accommodation booked. We visited the Tourist Information office, where we were given catalogues of hotels and of private accommodation. The Hotel MD is situated in the Susanj area of Bar, and we decided to go and see if they had room. They did and we spent two nights there. It was a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Bar. It is a fairly small hotel of 23 rooms. We were on the top floor, with a small balcony overlooking Susanj and we could see the sea and the surrounding mountains. Our room could have slept four people - there was a double bed, single bed, and another single bed on a small mezzanine. The hotel has a restaurant. The room and public areas were all very clean. We would recommend this hotel.

Unique Quality: The hotel is five minutes walk away from the beach. We watched the sun go down into the sea from our balcony. The staff were friendly and some spoke Engish. They even let us use the computer at the reception desk for a short while. The weather was very hot and we were glad of the air conditioning.

The Topolica Hotel

The best Hotel in Bar. Very good quality of rooms and cheap prices for night.

rent a room

when you get off the train at the station you will often be approached by taxi drivers or old ladys offering u to take u somewhere to live. I accepted and got to stay a bit outsise town in one room for about 10DM a night( its a while ago now)
I got the room and a great view, 100 meters to the beach which had the greatest white sand.
I didnt get any meals there but Im sure that most places do them if u ask for them and pay a bit extra

Hotel Topolica: The last one... I swear!

this is the bar where you'll have your breakfast.
Take in mind: the breakfast quantity (not quality) depends on the price you pay for sleeping... and your seat in the bar depends on the breakfast quantity...
I love the look of this bar!

Hotel Topolica: Hotel Topolica

Hotel Topolica in Bar is located in the center and it's in front of the sea.
It's a wonderful 70s eastern style hotel, with very nice common places, the bar, the swimming pool and so on.
The price for two person with breakfast is 20 Euro/night per person (lower than Lonely planet writes) and if you decide for half board is 25 Euro/night.
It has been really a great experience...go there!
