looking for a laundromat in rafailovici or budva

by jacquimil

Hello, this may seem like a silly question - but our family of 3 has rented an apartment in rafailovici for 4 weeks this summer and the apartment does not have laundry serivces in it. Does anyone know if there is a laundromat or laundry services anywhere in rafialovici or budva? Thanks so much for your help :)

There's a laundrette at the back of the indoor market in Budva, Expensive though. A binbag size is roughly €35. You wouldn't be doing it too often.

Travel Tips for Budva

The Old Town Streets

by vesna04

I love old town streets! Almost everything I wrote about that in my Kotor and Herceg Novi page, can refer to Budva. So, if you sow those, go to the next tip.
The streets in Budva's old town are mostly nerrow and full of character. Lots of restaurants, shops, cafes are oll around. Sometimes, it gets little complicated to get the orientation, since they are not simetricly spread. While walking pay attention to the details like the flowers that look like they are growing from the stone, or lovely old door-ways...Enjoy exploring!

The Port ( marina )

by vesna04

The marina is very lively place during the summer months. Lots of boats and yachts are resting there. If you like watching those, you can sit on the bench or in one of the very cosy rstaurants alongside this little port.

Churches

by Aurorae

"The people of the Budva region, exhausted by foreign rule and the defiance of hated rulers, both Venetians and Turks, once again had to gather strenght for the fight for freedom. Now the people opposed a new master, the French, who seized Budva in 1807. after the Treaty of Tilsit. After Napoleon's downfall in 1813. hope flickered anew on the sombre horizons of this region. Unfortuna tely not for long, for already in 1814. Budva and its environs came under Austrian rule. The century of Austrian occupation had unforeseeable consequences that destroyed much and blocked the development of the region."

Jaz

by Aurorae

Jaz is one of the most beautiful beaches that I've been to, it's about 2,5 km away from Budva in the direction of Tivat, and there is alos an auto camp in the woods.
The beach is very long (about 1km) with crystal clear water and very small pebbles, almost sandy, and in the part towards Budva there is a nudist section, not crowded and very peaceful.
