A small, family run block of apartments just outside the old town offering clean, if dated looking, apartments, with a decent kitchen, en suite shower, wifi, aircon, cable TV, and a balcony with a great view. The place is run by a family who, while not always falling over themselves to help, are decent enough, and while sometimes difficult to find, will respond quickly to mobile phone calls or messages.

The best thing about the apartments is the view. You can kick back on the bed and look out over the town roofs, and up at the magnificent fortress on the mountain top. At night the apartments are frame by a circle of lights from the fortress walls draped over the mountainside. The worst thing was the wifi - good when you could get a signal, but would drop out at peak hours. There's also a problem of party noise drifting from the old town until the early hours - but it can't be as bad as being in the old town itself.

Overall the apartments make very good value for money at about 60 euros a night for two in August.

Unique Quality: The apartments are conveniently located opposite a shopping mall, with a very good supermarket that opens late into the night. Great for grabbing a bottle of superb Montenegrin wine to go with your home cooked meal.
