Hi,
Does anyone have any up-to-date information on travelling from Podgorica to Shkodra (it would be in summer). Is there still no bus or train connection? Are they thinking of creating one?
Do buses (or trains) exist from Podgorica to the border and from the border to Shkodra, even if there's no through bus?

Montenegro's most popular local beer is Niksicko Pivo, which is brewed by the Trebjesa brewery in Niksic. After Podgorica, Niksic is Montenegro's second largest town.
The brewery produces four lagers: Niksicko pivo, Nik Gold, Nik Cool, and Niksicko tamno. During our 2 weeks in Montenegro I enjoyed quite a few Niksicko pivo and Nik Gold.
Nowadays the Trebjesa brewery is owned by the world largest brewer Anheuser–Busch InBev.

Crvena Stijena ( Red Rock ) is the biggest cave and an arheological site in Montenegro. Not long ago the tooth of Neanerthal man was found. Crvena Stijena is considered to be one of the biggest paleozic site in Europe as well.

As I promised I'll put some photos of my home town or If you want of a place which I visited from 10 of January until the 26 of the same month. Today I am showing you Podgorica the Capital of Montenegro and during next few weeks you'll be able to see more of Montenegro and more towns like Pljevlja, Budva, Petrovac and the Montenegrian coast. Podgorica is a capital of Montenegro,second yugoslav republic.Small,peacefull town suroundded by hills,not far from the sea.Montenegro is small by its teritory and I would recomend staying in Podgorica,and from it you can go few days at the sea and few days at the mountain!Yes in the middle of the summer one can ski on Durmitor and few ours later you are at the beach,swiming under hot sun!
Podgorica is situated at the confluence of Moracha and Ribnica rivers.
