have a drink, sit down....look around and all the beauty will sink in. Not yet lounching itself into the caplitalist way of life.... Serbia is still one of those places where it is more important to chill out than to work :)

Sv. Vasilije Ostroški

The church of St. Vasilije Ostroški is situated on Novi Beograd (New Belgrade), at Bežanijska kosa. It is rather new, completed only couple of years ago. I live nearby. :)
It's a pretty weird, unusual church, completely round and with an isolated thin tower, not resembling Orthodox arxhitecture at all, but I guess that the novelty in religious architecture is becoming popular around Serbia.
This is my grrrrrreat friend Sylvia (Skipka at VT) in front of it last summer.
