A good value for money
by Ritchie_Lionheart about Hotel Astoria
This is a relatively large 3-star hotel right across from the main railway and main bus station. Staff is pleasant and helpful, it has a bar and a good restaurant and is a mere 10 minutes walk from the city center.
I found and booked this hotel through Hoteli Srbija, a small but most helpful agent with links anywhere in Serbia or Montenegro. Number one for location and value for money.

"Serbia now!"
Serbia is situated on the Balcan peninsula in Eastern Europe, at the cross-roads between West and East (therefore so many trouble for my country.)
Srbija was one of the republic of old Yugoslavia. Now is still in Yugoslavia..but It will be country for itself due to political events lately. We were in the dark more then 10 years. Serbian people is good, nice aslo very good hosts. Just you need time to know us better:)
We are now running to the world since we are open.
Serbia has lot of things to offer. Here is one site in english where you can see it properly

You can spend 2 million if you can afford that. More information please. How many days do you want to stay? How much are you willing to spend on accomodation and food? What cities do you want to see?

Ok, let's get some things straight:
1. It's Serbia (Srbija).
2. Where do you want to go? Any specific city/town/village you want to visit?
3. What means of transportation would you prefer? Plane, car, buts, train, boat?:)

Well using the Hungarian rail ways website http://www.elvira.hu/elvira.dll?language=2 I couldnt find the price of a ticket but I found out that it takes approximatley 8 Hrs. Again Eurolines buses on www.eurolines.com might be another option.

15 Euro either way by train. This ticket is called "Belgrád speciál" and is being sold in Budapest only.
I am going actually on July 4/5 to pick up my wife at Belgrade airport.
