Hi,
Taxi from Uzice to Zlatibor(15 km) cost around 7-10 euro, but for about 3 euro you could catch one of the local buses(at list 10 per day as well as one of the many transiting from Belgrade, Nis, Krusevac and other bigger cities from Serbia, trough the bus station).Departure of the local buses are: 5,20; 5,40; 6,30; 7,00; 8,0011,00; 12,15; 13,15 working days and; 14,10; 16,00; 17,00; 20,05; 22,00 Saturday and Sunday.
Once you are on zlatibor, all is in the range of 500 meters, including the base.

fala, znam za taj selo Belosevac kod Kragujevac. Ja sam Bilo tamo u 1997. Moj roditelje jos zevi tamo. Trazim Bjelosevac kod Uzice. Moj pradeda ostavjo Bjelosevac i otico do Belosevac pre 1900. Zasto trazim taj selo ako jos je tu.

Uzice have much fine places like: museum,library,much caffes ('Art','Milenijum','Arena' etc.),disco ('Rupa','Garaza',etc.),hotels ('Zlatibor','Palas','Turist' etc.),and much other town-things...
In Uzice you can come with your car,with railway,with bus etc.If you from abroad you must come in Belgrade and than you can go for Uzice (from Railway Station or Bus station-that is easly way to come in Uzice.
Uzice have airport ,but he isn't for commercial fly-maybe in future... When you come in Uzice you can visit much things: museum,the Old City etc...
Also,you can go on Zlatibor-the Yugoslav most popular winter center...
Resume: when you come in Uzice you can doing and visit much things...

RIBASEVINA is small vilage...

RIBASEVINA is small vilage nearby Uzice. There lives less than 2000 habitants. This is typical west-serbian vilage, but from the other side very modern. Ribasevina have motel, ambulance, post office, 4 shops, mechanic workshop, gas station, playing yard, bakery and church (under construction). Around 10 kilometers from Ribasevina is mountine Jelova Gora - very good place for hunting and fishing (great salmons!). Ribasevina is very good place for rest. A lot of fresh air, very tastefull domestic food, very strong alcohol drink so called 'rakija', beautifull landscape... all that characterise this small vilage 20 kilometers north-west from Uzice.

Uzice is a small town on Detinja river,on soutwest Serbia.It has less than 100.000 inhabitants and photo of the city may not be that interesting,but I wanted to show you area around Uzice,mountain Zlatibor as first.Uzice itself is under Zlatibor.

In Ribasevina was born famous...

In Ribasevina was born famous Serbian painter Mihailo Milovanovic. He was an official paiter of headquatter of Serbian army in WWI. In Ribasevina is placed his residence - very beautiful house, but, unfortunately, now in ruins, because after WWII this house was taken from Yugoslav people army. In this house was 'prisoned' prime minister of Yugoslav Kingdom Milan Stojadinovic after his abdication in 1939.

Mihailo Milovanovic was killed by comunists in 1941. durin period of so called 'Republic of Uzice'. M. was exellent portrait painter and his pictures of serbian commanders are very famous.
