private stay: Private stay

No matter where you'd like to stay, on Prahova Valley, which is the name of the entire region (including Sinaia, Predeal, Azuga, Brasov) you'll always find a place to stay. Arriving by train to either of the destinations, the locals will literally jump on you with offers in pensions or at the local's home. Don't worry, they're not dangerous, they just earn some extra money by hosting travellers. But you can find easily hotels, because most of Romanians stay in Guesthouses, not in hotels! The one that we stayed in was absolutely fantastic. The lady was friendly and never interfered with us and it was very centrally located. We paid 100 lei per double room.

Caraiman Hotel: Caraiman Hotel

This 3star hotel was definately not interested in entertaining their guest and customer service was the lowest that I have ever experienced.

everywhere: Not to worry about accomodation!

No matter where you'd like to stay, on Prahova Valley, which is the name of the entire region (including Sinaia, Predeal, Azuga, Brasov) you'll always find a place to stay. If you arrive by train to either of the destinations, the locals will literally jump on you with offers in pensions or at the local's home. Don't worry, they're not dangerous, they just earn some extra money by hosting travellers. But you can find easily hotels, because most of Romanians stay in Guesthouses, not in hotels!
