cabin at Straja: La cabana
Great place, there are 2 rooms with 4, 6, 7 beds. Very clean place, hot running water, good inside tempeerature

Camping in the woods
You can practicaly camp where you like for free in the woods
Sometimes you can even have the nice surprise of refuges like this wooden house which was basic - only one room with nothing in it - yet a better shelter than the tent. We put our sleepingbags on freshly cut fir tree branches and it was not only an adventure but a pleasure as well to fel asleep in the nice scent

Turistical complex Sambata: Accomodation at Sambata
Next to Sambata monastery there is a big turistical complex where accomodation is provided in wooden houses or campgrounds
There is also a possibility of accomodation at Sambata cabin, about 2 hours by foot from the monastery

Camping Obarsia Lotrului: Wooden houses at Obarsia Lotrului
Accomodation in small wooden houses with 2 beds
Hikers can also camp in tents near the camping ground
The bathroom is outside the wooden house

Cabin Cinaia: Camping and cabin at Cibin
You can camp all along the route between Paltinis and Obarsia Lotrului, there are no real restrictions besides open fires
Hikers can also be accomodated at Cinaia cabin which is at the halfway of the route or you can camp close to it
A great berry field where you pick and eat as much as you want if you come in August
