Hotel Monika, named after the owner, is run by Monika, who is an experienced hotelier and trained in tourism managment. During communism she worked as a tour guide and ran a tea house located in Bran Castle. She was born in Brasov and is very knowledgable about the surrounding areas. Her facilities are top-notch, clean and quaint. Rooms are decorated in traditional Romanian style and she prepares meals for her guests with a large breakfast included in the price. Her facilites also include a large restaurant, dining room with bar downstairs and has a splendid courtyard to sit, relax and shoot the proverbial breeze and enjoy the spring or summer weather.
