RE: looking for a job

Since you are looking for a professional job in Romania, I'm assuming that you already speak Romanian. Working in a hospital setting would be, I would think, an impossibility without fluency in the local language.
If you are looking to do just office work, even if you don't speak Romanian I'm sure some of your professors at the university could help you get a position at a medical facility.

If you can speak Romanian, you could check the local papers for adverts of job offers or perhaps advertize yourself in the paper or on campus.

Good luck.

On 11 March.
We want to have VT meeting in Oradea. Saturday we can drink and eat at Taverna, a restaurant with traditional Romanian and Hungarian cuisine. Sunday we can tour the city and even go swimming to one of thermal-water spas.
We will meet in front of the National Theatre, in the heart of the city, at 4 pm. See you there...

Travel Tips for Oradea

biserica cu luna

by oradea_dream

Constructia imbina stilurile bizantin, baroc tirziu si neoclasicist.

The Synagogue

by edvin_br

Once Oradea has been a city with a big, prosperous jewish community but after the second World War most of them died or left the city. Today in all the county of bihor living just about 700-900 jews.
Oradea has 3 synagogues (just 1 in use i think) and the centeral one is very impressive and located left to the City Hall and to the Black Eagle. The building is in a very poor condition and its another thing that symbolize the great community that lived there and now is gone.
Now there is an old friendly man who keeps the bulding from thives and hooligans, If you want he can make you a little tour inside the synagogue... he is doing it for free but you should give him some money (not much... somthing between 50000-100000 lei) so he can continue keep the remarkable place. Just watch out when you going into the yard of the synagogue because there are 2 dangerous dogs that tied but are Staying near the door to the synagouge itself, but dont worry, if you will tell the old man you just visiting the place they will do to you bo harm.

The National Theater

by edvin_br

The Theater is situated in city Center and it is one of the cities most beautiful buildings.
iIt is bulit in 1899 in record time by Rimanoczy Kalman junior, Guttman Josef and Rendes Vilmos and it is a good example for the eclectismului in Oradea.
The first play in the Theater was in october 15 1900.
If you will visit the center of Oradea you will must get to the Theater... it is an amazing building with a great neoclasic style that everyone should admire.
