In this beautiful city of Romania, we arrived late evening and we decided to find a place to spend the night. GPS navigator pointed out that just around the corner is a Guesthouse. I do not regret the choice. It seems that we were caught up in the fairy kingdom. Hospitable hosts opened the gates and we drive our car in the yard. Feel safe and calm. Rooms marked each with its own coat of arms and is very cozy with authentic decoration and colors. All around is a very quiet and peaceful. Also the breakfast was to be what they were in Romania - very tasty and rich. We really felt like home. Highly Recommended !!!
Folk style room decoration and absolute peaceful neighborhood.
Unfortunately I don't remember the name of this hotel but it was away from the centre, there are few banners for it located around town, costing 500,000/ 50 new lei for a double with tv and ensuite bathroom.
Park hotel is well located and as a very long history. Its one of Oradeas oldest hotels and it operating since 1904 (it used to be a casino before it)...During the 20 century the hotel attracted many famous pesrsons including the great Romanian musician George Enescu.
The interior of the hotel looks like a old Austro-Hungarian building. It has huge rooms, very high walls, big dors, and beautiful flooring.
The hotel has only one star so dont expect it to le luxorious but every room as a very nice bathroom, phone, minibar and tv.The beds are a bit not comfortable.c*
There is a resonable number of hotels particularly o the center , many of them recently renovated .Also at 14 km of Oraea is one of the bigest turists resort on the country offering tousens of places in resonable hotels at very resonable prices . The last time I have been there I payed Ina hotel with swiming pool the equivalent of 10 $ per night . Now probable is a bit more ( the resort is called Baile Felix)
