My mother in law lived in Oradea before WW-II when it was part of Hungary. She lived in a street called Rimanoczi Utca, which was going to a Piazza called Bemer Ter, Where the theater was. Can anyone tell me what are the new names of the street and the piazza?
the piazza of the theatre in oradea is called today King Ferdinand I Plazza (Piata Regele Ferdinand I).
I think the street you are looking for is the Strada Moscovei, which is on the back of the Szinhaz. The main street is now the Calea Republicii, and indeed the Piaza Ferdinant is close to the bridge, next to the varoshaza.

The plans of the house were designed by two architects from Budapest, Bálint Zoltán and Jámbor Lajos. Back in those days, the year 1902 to be more precise, it was rumored the building would be the first to incorporate the Art Nouveau style. The building was finished in 1903. The owners of the building were vintagers, hence the the grapes in the basrelief ornaments.

I had heard about this place. So one day we went to check it out. The Interior looks nice. The food was ok but nothing too special and it was at least twice as expensive as the Taverna for example. So i won't return here.
More clear, luminous than a cathedral, in baroque style too, in a little flower garden is the Francescan Church. You see it in Republicii Street
There are the little statue of Mother of Gesus like in Lourde reveletion before the church
- You can go to the theater or to the Philharmonics
- You can go to the Theatre to see a play if you know Hungarian or Romanian
- Or you can go to the Philharmonics to listen some classic music; you don't need Hungarian or Romanian for that
- The ticket prices are unbelievable cheap but the performances are good
- The Philharmonics is near the Theater
