A fantastic place!
We stayd at this hotel in february 2010. The hotel was perfectly located in the the senter of Brasov's old town. The building was old, but everything was very well maintained. The hotel had a very cosy athmosphere, the restaurant was very good, and the staff was just exelent!!! We can strongly recomend this plage!
Unique Quality: Great location and a friendly helpful staff.

You hit two rabbits with this one. It's a perfect located hotel (right in Piata Sfatului) and a great restaurant - special atmosphere - you will understand why - it is also my recommended restaurant in Brasov

Central location
Being located in both end of XIX century in a typical Central European town family in the walls of the medieval Transylvanian fortress Kronstadt. Bella Muzica Hotel is located in a building 400 years old, inspired by the neoclassical architecture, fully renovated and arranged for new destination, it also keeps architectural elements that have provided the charm of the centuries.
Located in the historical center of Brasov, the hotel awaits you to spend a holiday in a great atmosphere full of history.

Remember to check that your booking still holds!
On the day of our arrival at Bella Muzika we were called at 7:30am and a message was left on our telephone asking for us to confirm our reservation (that had been booked for two months!) within 2 hours or it would be cancelled. We have already changed our whole holiday itinerary just so we could stay here so this didnt sound good. After calling back we were given the run around and were told the person who left the original message would call back. They did - 3 hours later!
We arrived to a surly receptionist who advised that there was no bookings available for dinner in the hotel and given our room.
The rooms are immaculate although very small. I stubbed my toe on numerous occasions trying to get past the bed.
The room had a mini bar although no tea and coffee making facilities.
Excellent location although usual surly romanian customer service.
Unique Quality: town centre location, on the town square. Luxurious surroundings.

Great location
The Hotel Bella Musica, which opened in 2005, is a nice, three-star hotel, with an ideal location at the corner of Piata Sfatalui, near the Black Church. It also has the best restaurant in Brasov, in its cellar. The 22 rooms are small, but comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A single room is 220 lei per night and a double 270 lei, including an excellent buffet breakfast.

Great location, beautiful rooms
I have not been back to Brasov since this hotel opened, but the pictures of the hotel rooms from the Bella Muzica Web site are impressive. All the rooms of this recently renovated building have been lavishly decorated to Western European standards. The location cannot be beat. It is right across the street from Piata Sfatului, the center of medieval Brasov. Everything you want to see and do in Brasov is within sight. There is also a great restaurant, also called Bella Muzica, in the basement of the hotel.
Most of Brasov's hotels were built during Romania's communist years and are not worth the price. So unless you are renting an apartment or a room in a private home, you might want to consider this hotel.

Great location, beautiful rooms
I have not been back to Brasov since this hotel opened, but the pictures of the hotel rooms from the Bella Muzica Web site are impressive. All the rooms of this recently renovated building have been lavishly decorated to Western European standards. The location cannot be beat. It is right across the street from Piata Sfatului, the center of medieval Brasov. Everything you want to see and do in Brasov is within sight. There is also a great restaurant, also called Bella Muzica, in the basement of the hotel.

Care to every detail and fine dining...
Located in the central Council Square, the building does not look very tempting from the street. It is just after one enters and follows the long hall giving access to rooms, or during breakfast, that the charm this place has is revealed. Rooms are tastefully decorated and staff is very attentive. A studio is worth the extra money. If you go to Brasov in summer and the weather is good, you can relax in their small, but lovely garden after walking through the city. Dinner in their restaurant is recommended, but book ahead, it is often full (and not very large).

We are staying in Brasov for 2 nights in June and would like to find a nice 4 or 5 star (UK) hotel. What is the Bella Muzica like or does anyone have a recommendation for a really nice 4 or 5 star hotel in Brasov

There aren't that many 4 - 5 star hotels in Brasov city itself, those are mainly located in the nearby luxury resort/suburb Poiana Brasov.
As far as I know, the only (partially) 5 star hotel right in the city is the Aro Palace (http://www.aro-palace.ro/hoteluri_en.htm#).
Bella Muzica (http://www.bellamuzica.ro/) seems to be a 3 star hotel.

You may also want to consider one of the Pensions there. Some of them are very nice and they are comparable with 4 stars hotels. My parents stayed at La Residenza Pension 3 weeks ago and they were impressed.

Hi, another enquiry about Hotels in Brasov: We plan to stay in Brasov for 3 nights in August and would like to find a nice 3 to 4 star hotel nearby the central railway station as we will travel by train on day trip basis to Sighisoara, Sinaia and Sibiu.
