I'm travelling to Cluj-Napoca with 3 friends on the 20th of March until the 25th/26th. I've been there lots of times but my usual accomodation is not available this time, and the only hostel I can find on the internet (Retro) is all booked out!!! The hotels are quite expensive, so unless I go without food for the week it looks like I'll be sleeping on the street! Does anybody know of a secret hostel that's not on the internet, or a house/apartment somewhere in Cluj that rents out rooms??? Please let me know as soon as possible, because I'm off to Lithuania on the 11th! If you could email me that would be great: nessargh@gmail.com
Also, are there any community art groups or people involved in community art projects in Cluj-Napoca and the surrounding area? One of the reasons for this particular trip is to do some research into a community art project I would like to set up in a poor area of nearby Turda. Any tips on community art in general would also be welcome. Thanks!
I found you a cheap place in a splendid area.I personaly recomand Dragon's Gate Guesthouse as I had been there and love it,the owner is very hospitable and really knows the area as he is from there.Hope you see this

Other place in the middle of the city is the Stefan cel Mare Square, on which one can admire the National Theatre and the State Opera, all in one building.
In front of the house, was placed two statues, which represent two big Romanian poets: Mihai Eminescu and Lucian Blaga.
All buildings that bordered the place are history parts of the city and of the country.
The statue of Matei Corvin was created by the artist Janós Fadrusz in the year 1902.
The monument is to be found in the Unirii Square, in front of the St Michael Church, and is a very imposing making with a height of 12m.
The pedestal of the statue interprets a bastion of the wall of the Cluj fortress and it was realized by the sculptor Lajos Pákey.

This traditional restaurant is much appreciated and often visited house in Cluj-Napoca.
The foods are delightfully and affordable.
Here, one can eat very well, into a comfortable atmosphere.
I couldn’t visit it unfortunately so I can’t write you a tip.But what I’ve heard from local people and friends the garden is worth to be seen.The best period for that they say it is in the summer cause all the places are opened.
The Palace of Justice in Cluj-Napoca was built between 1898 and 1902. The building was projected by the architect Gyula Wagner.
