Ciucea
by Aitana
Ciucea is a village on the road to Oradea. The main attraction is the Memorial house of Octavian Goga, a Romanian poet and politician. In the land of the house there is a nice orthodox church built in the 16th century that is worth a visit (in my opinion, more that the museum itself). Visit my page on Ciucea for more details.
Restaurant Gente Senior
by HORSCHECK
On our last day in Cluj-Napoca we chose the Restaurant Gente Senior for our dinner.
We already noticed the place when we had lunch at the Restaurant Marty. Both restaurants are located in the same building.
Gente Senior seems to have two areas: A proper restaurant area in the back of the room and a pizza place in the front area, which also has an upper floor.
As it was a Friday evening the whole restaurant was packed, but by chance we found a free table in the front area, where the tables are small and very close to each other.
Pizzas come in two sizes: 600 g and 1200 g. I ordered a Pizza Bismark (13,00 RON) and a local Ursus Premium beer (4,00 RON). The pizza was very filling and yummy. The service was a bit slow, probably due to the many customers.

Personally if I were a tourist in Cluj I wouldn't miss visiting the Botanical Garden which is one of the main attractions of the city.It has so much to offer and it would be a shame not to visit it.So I'm not telling you more because it just can't be described in words.
Evangelical Church
by HORSCHECK
The Evangelical Church was erected between 1816 and 1829 after designs of the architect Georg Winkler.
The building includes elements of Baroque and Neo-Classical architecture.
Since 1913 the church is home to a pipe organ from Ludwigsburg (D).
Directions:
The Evangelical Church is located at the crossing of the streets Bul. 21. Decembrie 1989 and Str. Regele Ferdinand, just near the northern corner of the Piata Unirii (Union Square).
