Still fancy but 4 star is Rex Hotel in Mamaia, went a couple of times but Im not sure if ure getting value for money..
The happiest with the tradeoff value-money I think I was about hotel Riviera in Mamaia..
Anyway, dont go below 3 star, u have very often nasty surprises..As everything is fully booked I couldnt get anything else in July 04 apart from Patria hotel - typical Romanian 2 star with cronic underinvestment - can u imagine that theres nothing changed in the last 20 years? I think I terrified a bit my Italian friend, who the poor thing, never sought water falling down at the reception & people collecting it in buckets, a room toilet not in order & a weird smell all around...
