Yes, and then you are in Odesa and from there to Evpatoria a boat would be nice but you can get from Odesa to Evpatoria by train which is quite a long trip. It is a pity that there are only such lousy and expensive boat services in the Black Sea - yes, the Black Sea is not the Baltic Sea and Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine are not Sweden and Finland...

Visit the Casino by the sea. A very beautiful bulding and interesting from an architectural point of view, being built in the Art Nouveau style between the two World Wars. You can also go and spend an evening there!

The Genovese Lighthouse

by Fam.Rauca

The Genovese Lighthouse (Farul Genovez), built in the 18th century by the English Company Danube & Black Sea Railway & Co, is placed on the Coast of the Sea, near the Casino of Constanta.
It got its name, as remember to the Genovese merchandise dealers that made their works on the Black Sea Coast, between the 18th and 19th century.
The hexagonal tower is 8 metres high and its light is visible from a distance of nine and half marine miles.
The lighthouse was in the function until 1913.
The building was restored several times in the time period 1858-1860. The last renovation was in the year 1948.

The white building is a very important edifice of Constanta.
