by RomanianMafia
You never get bored. Because the night life is the bomb !! The best memory was of me swimming in the Black Sea at 4:00 AM, with 5 hot women whom i didn't even know the name of... after partying all night at the best club in Constanta. Club Mania
Summer clothing...
by ciuchi
Have no idea what to say here...:)) Well, my tips will be for the people who come here in the summer time...I advise you bring very light clothing and shoes, but also an umbrella and something warmer for the nights...you never know. The main thing is that when it gets hot it's also very humid and be ready for some places without AC. And do not forget the swimming suit, cause if you do, you can always buy one here...:)) You can find almost anything here in any pharmacy or supermarket so the best advice would be not to load your bag with stuff like that unless there is something you just can't live without! Most of the beaches now have chairs and umbrellas to rent, bars and anything you need.
Ovid statue
by Aitana
Ovid, Publius Ovidius Naso, was a Roman poet who lived from 43 BC to AD 17 or 18. In AD 8, he was exiled by Emperor Augustus to Tomis (Constanta), where he lived the rest of his life.
There is a statue of Ovid in front of the Museum of History.
Curch St.Peter and Paul

Typical orthodox church – large and beautiful. I liked the idea that the candles are lit outside and you must put them in a tray with water. It is definitely more comfortable than being in the church

Aurora Cape.........Onix Hotel (3 stars) has swimming pool with heated water, a nice bar and restaurant. AURORA is the "youngest"(1973) and the smallest seasonal resort on the Black Sea Coast, being situated on a 3 to 20 m high rocky promontory. The beach is 500 m long and man-made breakwaters protected, making accessible to the tourists the natural cure factors of the seawater and of the marine bioclimate, rich in saline aerosols and solar radiation with an exciting stimulating effect.
Its 10 constituent hotels, bearing names of precious and semi-precious stones, are placed near the beach.
The access:
By air: Constanta airport;
By road (as with all the other Romanian Black Sea resorts) from the D.N. 39 (E 87):
*from Constanta, 41 km to the south
*from Mangalia, 7 km to the north
By railways: Mangalia station, on the Bucharest-Constanta-Mangalia line, than by taxi or bus to the resort.
