Affordable nice accommodation at good location

The hotel is located in a small holiday resort named "Venus". I cannot evaluate the price of the rooms in this hotel as I bought a package trip containing return flights and accommodation. I would believe it is not expensive. It is a two star hotel but I wouldn't have believed it. Rooms are clean, everything is functioning. There is a bar in the hotel too.

The beach is not best possible; there are no sunbeds available (autumn 2004) so you had to dirt your own towel there. The sand was not white and powderlike. If you want a better beach, you need to go to Neptun (just 3-4 kilometres away) where there is sunbeds and little restaurants offering light lunch and snacks.
Even better beaches can be found from Mamaia, which is near Romania's second biggest city Constanta. It is only some 55 kms away and public transportation is available (taxis too). Mamaia is more expensive and more international having good services. The location - 150 meters to the beach. Walking distance to all places in small Venus. Funny "train" and minibus connections to other towns and cities.

Cheap prices. Friendly staff. Beautiful garden inside the building complex.
