Boat trip to the Black Sea from Galati
I will be in Galati for 2 nights at the end of May. I am iterested in taking a boat trip to the Black Sea. Can this be done in one day? Where can I find information about it.

It can be done in one day (with a fast boat the trip shouldn't take more than 5 hours one way), but you'll have to find a boat for rent as there are no ferrys.
A better option might be to catch a bus from Galati to Tulcea (a port further down the Danube, the usual tourist entry point into the Danube Delta), where it would be easier and cheaper to rent boats.
From Tulcea there are also several public transport ferrys along the Danube's main channels through the delta all the way to the sea, but in general they do just one run per day (leave from Tulcea at midday, come back the next morning) so you'd have to spend a night in the villages on the coast - which would be a very good idea btw.
