It was a few years ago when I visited 'Targu Mures' in Transylvania, Romania. Me and a friend arrived at the train station without having booked anywhere. We started walking into town and came across the 'Transilvania Hotel'. Had to stay there of curse...I mean, of course.
Dracula and so on. There were two parts to the hotel at the time, the old and the new. The old was cheaper so we took a room in it. We decided to eat at the hotel since it was late. We had the whole dining room to ourselves and our personal waitress who hovered by a pillar all the time we were eating.....yea really. There was monkeys brain on the menu but we didn't try it. Fabulous old style dining room. Everything was great value at the time since the local currency was 'lei' pronounced loo and you might have literally millions of them on you.
