it's a little problem because most of the romanian food is based on meat, be aware that also if the cook without meat they used pig fat as oil or something like this.

Well... then i should try to find the best deal available. How easily accessible are fruits, bread, cheese or things like that. Are they easily available in stores during this time of the year. Are milk cans, yoghurt also easily available. if it is then, possibly i can survive for couple of weeks.
Romania is no different from any other place where vegetables are concerned. In fact, they have the freshest veggies I have found. Cabbage salads are very popular there! In the town square you will find a wonderful variety of restaurants. You will not have a problem. Lloyd's is great, order the Schwabish potatoes! Where are you staying while you are there?

Nicolas Lenau College is located was built in 1761 and is located on the north side of the square and used to be the first theater of Timisoara. The baroque Serbian Orthodox Cathedral built betwen 1745 and 1748 and the serbian Bishop's Residence with its original decorations are located on the western part of the square. The cathedral can be visited all the days betwen 7 am and 6 pm.
I was born in Timisoara and I live here for 23 years. It's a beautiful city, even if there are no major touristic objectives here. If you come here, you must see the 3 famous squares: The Victory square (also known as the center of the town), the Liberty square and the Union Square. I personally like the Union square, it is very friendly especially in the summertime. There is a lot of medieval architecture, nice buildings and churches, the famous Cathedral in the center of Timisoara, which is unique by its position.
Here are some of the other volunteer teachers. The organisation that arranged the trip used to visit a school each year but unfortunately they have now gone bankrupt. The summer school was held in Tache Ionescu School, on Strada Bucuresti, near to the centre of town.

A break in filming. The guy second in from the left was so nervous about being in front of a camera that he had to do about 25 takes!

A: ""how are the people like?" Doubt that you would get an "objective" answer to that from anyone, but according to my experience Romanians are the most friendly and helpful..."
