Central location, good quality
This hotel I found on Puuma's (another VT member) pages and did not get disappointed. I only had to stay for one night and it turned out fine, even though one could still smell the paint since the hotel was just newly refurbished and pretty early in the morning in the next room one was still renovating quite audibly...
A single room with two beds cost me 49 euro incl. breakfast, it was clean and modern. The reception personel was only as friendly as it seemed necessary but if you only look for a place to stay over night well-situated near the old part of Timisoara this place can be recommended.

Right in the centre
This hotel truly lives up to its name, located only 50m off Timisoara's main pedestrianised shopping mile in a quiet side street. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, a typical socialist eye-sore, but the inside has recently been refurbished, the rooms look brand-new and are quite comfy and good-value at 47€ with breakfast for a double.

Nice accommodation
We spent four nights in Hotel Central and found it very worth the money. The lobby was modern and very clean, and so was our double room. The bathroom was very cozy. The room was equipped with tv and air conditioning, which really came in need. Breakfast was adequate (choose on the list). Location of the hotel is excellent.
We tried to book in advance but didn't get any reply. I remember that we paid something like 30 euros/room/night.
