Perfect place to stay in Timisoara
My wife and I have been at the Savoy since mid September 2006 and will be there until the end of October 2006. We both agree that the Savoy is a great place to stay when in Timisoara. We stayed the first few days in an apartment suite and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The suite was huge, well furnished and included a large screen television in the living room, a smaller television in the bedroom and a jacquzzi. The balcony was also very spacious and was grassed with concrete footpaths. The suite at the front overlooks the huge cathedral on the main square. We are now in a double room that is also very comfortable and has a sitting area a few steps up from the bedroom.
The service at the hotel is very good, front desk staff speak english perfectly and are very helpful and accomodating. The restaurant is small, but service here is also good and its not expensive. The hotel also offers free broadband internet and wireless internet.
Savoy is also a few minutes walk from the orthodox cathedral and Victory Square. We both recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Timisoara.
