An ideal place to stay
Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. All the amenities eg sauna, fitness room, concierge, money-changing facility etc

Central comfort
After having tried a number of hotels in the higher categories in Bucharest, this one is my favourite in the city centre: A true luxury hotel with big comfortable rooms and an apropriate service. A very well-sorted cigar-shop in the basement for those that have forgotten their Cohibas. On checking in, former German world-class soccer player Franz Beckenbauer also arrived at the hotel to stay there. Breakfast might be better in some other hotels of similar class in Bucharest and the most spectacular luxury hotel might be the Marriott. However, I like the Hilteon best for its central situation and the nice restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

Athenee Palace
The Hotel Athenee Palace Hilton is perfectly located in the heart of Bucharest's business and shopping district, close to the historical and cultural sights and within easy reach of government offices, embassies and banks.
Unique Quality: Constructed in 1914 and newly refurbished, Athenee Palace provides a total of tastefully furnished 272 rooms including 45 Junior Suites, 15 One Bedroom Suites and 5 Executive Rooms. All rooms are equipped with modern conveniences such as individually controlled air-conditioning and heating system, electronic locks, voice mail, color cable and pay/TV, safety deposit boxes, lap-top connections and a mini-bar. The rooms feature the great views of the Royal Palace, Revolution Square, hotel garden or the ambient city

Top of the range in Bucharest
The Hilton Hotel is deffinately one of the finest hotels in Bucharst, and certainly the most historic. As a five star hotel, the staff are very accomodaing. I arrived around 8:00 AM and was chacked-in without a problem. THe room was imaculately clean and the location is ideal for both business and cultural purposes. The gym and spa facilities are on par with western hotels of a similar category. As much as I enjoyed my stay there, I would book the Marriott over the Hilton, as the newer hotel offers more amenities, and larger rooms. Also, as the highest priced hotel in the city, it should be without question the best. I have found the Marriott to be supperior in all categories but front desk staff and location, where the Hilton excells.
Unique Quality: The front desk staff were amazing and efficient. They knew the name of every gues in my party after check-in. Trully phenominal service.

Athenee Palace
Hilton is known as one of the best hotel chains in the world. well, i saw a few hilton hotels in my life and the one in Bucharest is not too imprssive (in my opinion at least...), the structure that was built in 1914 is a bit boring but it situated in one of the most importent sites of Bucharest, in the Revolution square, just near the Athenaeum.
Unique Quality: The hilton is a 5 stars hotel with 272 rooms, offers the most luxorious facilities plus fitness center, pool and casino.
