  • I stayed during my business trip in this hotel. The hotel has furnished modern style, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast wasn't good, price is 150 Euros per/day.

    The Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel is a big, modern, five-star hotel just off Piaţa Romană. It was formerly called the Dorobanti Hotel. There are 285 rooms on 18 floors. The rooms on the upper floors afford great views of the city, but for obvious safety reasons, the windows are sealed, so the rooms can seem a bit airless. Every room is equipped with cable TV, telephone, dataport, hairdryer, and AM/FM alarm clock radio.

    On the first floor there is the Benihana Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant while the modernistic Avalon restaurant specializes in Euro-Asian fusion food. Every Sunday there is a Euro-Asian brunch
