Marriott

Unique Quality: The Bucharest Marriott Grand Hotel is primarily a business hotel, located close to the main
business areas and surrounded by main government offices and ministries.

The only hotel in the city with a huge parking area. The largest rooms in town plus the "room that works" concept provide a comfortable, convenient living and working environment. Largest hotel conference facilities in Bucharest, featuring all conference rooms with daylight. In addition, the biggest fitness centre in town operated by World Class Health Academy.

One of the best in Bucharest

If you want a nice room with extrordinary facilities and restaurants with delicious food choose The Marriott Hotel. The rooms are not very big but extremely nice.Downstairs you will find a spa that includes one of the best gims i've ever seen, a very nice swimming pool and jacuzzi and other facilities. At the first floor of the hotel you'll find some restaurants : Cucina(I can't tell you much because I never ate here), Cupola(great food!a kind of self service but a very elegant one.;you pay an entrance-21 euros-and eat as much as you can and whatever you like), Champions(It's a nice restaurant where you can eat and drink while watching games or betting, nice atmosphere).

Unique Quality: Here I saw one of the best gims, very well equiped and high skilled trainers.

Very Nice Hotel

Most everything was wonderful. The service, accomodations, facilites, etc. The staff are truly there to serve, although it comes at a steep price. On the down side, there's no American CNN or ESPN on TV so if you want good US news or sports you're out of luck. The restaurants inside the hotel were decent but the food at the "American" restaurant 'Champions' tasted nothing like American food.

Uh, why not start with the toiletries? Hehehe! After a full week at the Marriott, I collected all the leftover toiletries and gave them to a friend who was visiting a hospice in Brasov. I even pinched the extra toilet rol. All stuff much needed by many people in Romania.

A Hotel With Elegance

My stay at the Marriot Hotel was very nice. All the small amenities (such as a phone and TV speaker in the bathroom) were not spared. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Some of the room views were great (see tip picture) and the furniture decor well maintained. You can see your room charges at any time through your room cable TV.

Unique Quality: There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby area. Also included is a mini-mall with a Lebanese restaurant, clothing shops, and a souvenir store.

Best hotel in Bucharest

I stayed at the Marriott in April 2004 and I can tell you, that this hotel is awesome. Everything in this hotel is more than "first-class".
It's rather expensive, but worth the money.

Unique Quality: Pool, jakuzzi, squash courts, fitness-center, sauna,....

Just went to the restaurant and casino

Staying at the Marriott was way above my budget but I had a meal here and later went to the casino, needless to say the hotel is exceptionally plush and well looked after. Also (I imagine) extortionately priced to stay in.
