    Ofcourse I didn't stay here, but I can tell you that the hotel realy looks good.

    Sauna and fitness centre, massage, hairdresser and a ground floor bistro. It is situated on the city's main throughfare.

    Located on the famous Calea Victoriei, Ramada Majestic Bucharest Hotel is a true 4 stars hotel, recently renovated and extended (2003).
    We love the indoor swimming pool (one of the cleanest in Bucharest).

    Majestic Hotel is a luxury hotel, in a renovated building with a very good location - right downtown, a few hundred meters from the university square which is considered the center of Bucharest.

    • Recently refurbished 4 star hotel on what appears to be one of the busiest roads in Bucharest: Calea Victoriei

    Hotels' website is pretty accurate

    Bedrooms are comfortable and air conditioned - don't expect too much in English on the TV though. The only English language channels were BBC World and CNN plus Eurosport (sometimes!). I never realised how often programmes repeat on BBC World....

    As is often the case, walls are paper thin - and the Romanians like to party!

    Although I was in a room overlooking the busy road (traffic is like Naples on speed from 1000 to 0300), the windows are very effective, I had no problem sleeping

    Restaurant is fine for breakfast but rather long and narrow - not too good for intimate liaisons or discrete business meetings

    Bar menu is fine and swift

    Service is efficient and friendly - the reception staff all speak very good English, staff's English varies but is generally adequate

    Indoor pool is small but adequate and there is a well-equipped fitness centre and sauna

    Hotel is well placed in central Bucharest with easy access to revolution square, military circle, art museum.
    Conference centre, business centre - I did not use them

    Internet: broadband access for 12 euros an hour. One of my US colleagues had problems accessing some US govt sites - no probs with commercial/hotmail etc

    • Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and according to my local guide you could not be more central to the heart of the city. The hotel room which I booked via the website was superb as I believe I must have been upgraded to a suite and for a cost of 120€ per night this was great value. I arrived very late due to a plane delay and the bar was closed but the guy at reception was more than happy to crack a bottle open to quensch my thirst! Very friendly staff.

    Good clean rooms with great facilities including sauna and pool (however I did not get a chance to use these.

    Majestic is my favorite hotel in Bucharest (altough i havent stayed there... yet...). The hotel is situated in a small square (near the Odeon theater) at the magical Calea Victoriei... the hotel can be divided to 2 parts... the internal is a old elegant building, the second part which facing Calea Victoriei is more modern and shiny.

    The 4 stars hotel has 111 rooms, all of them equipped with air condition, mini bar, safe box, tv and other stuff... in addition there is a swimming pool, fitness room., sauna, message and other health facilities.
    There is aldso a conference center, a restaurant and a bistro bar.

    The staff of the Majestic is an eclectic group. One of the primary front desk gentlemen was a very serious Turk. Our bellboy was an energenic young Roma. Breakfast is included with the room. You can also get lunch and dinner there also. Tourism is still an evolving industry in Bucharest. Therefore hotels are still on the expensive side.

    we had a balcony.

    Has a swimming pool and spa. 24 hour room sevice. the room had everything in it.
