A good place in Bucharest

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 8, 2008

Only stayed there one night, booked two suites for two couples. Welcome was excellent and cleanliness of the room and the decor could not have been better at twice the price.
The owner helped us choose a restaurant which was also excellent.
The Villa is in a quite part of town, but walking distance from Revolution Square. Security is excellent due to a UNHCR building oposite which means there are police outside 24 hours a day.
For a central stay in Bucharest it cannot be beaten.

Unique Quality: The apartments have up to the minute design. All appear to have bedroom with ensuite, sitting room with TV and DVD, fully equiped kitchen.

Directions: Strada Licurg does not appear to be on Satnavs but the roads around are.

Great value for the money and spacious apartment

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)

This nice and neat and clean residence/apartment was located in a very good place. In a walking distance there were some of the main streets and squares. It was also cheap to take a taxi to save your feet.

We had expected a usual room, but instead we got a residence/apartment with a corridor, a spacious living room, a small kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a spacious and clean bathroom.

If you have a laptop, there is a wireless Internet connection in the living room.

Very much recommended to anyone (who does not need hotel services).

Unique Quality: The staff. There was no airconditioning in our room, but as it was +40 C outside and almost as much inside, they started to install airconditioning to our room after the first night, without extra cost or trouble. They did it during daytime as we were out of the room.

Beautiful old building; not like cold chain hotels. Peace of the area. Safety.

More space for clothes than in our home!
