Several hotels with indoor pools (Intercontinental, Mariott, Parc etc.) also allow non-guest to use them (for a price, of course), you could go to one of them.

thank you for answering but is there any special place for pools .... not like hotels ... but specail place like park , bath ??

Re: swimming pools

Well, there are also pools in the Floreasca sport complex (one on Aviator Popa Marin street, no. 2 and another on Mircea Eliade blvd., no. 1) and in Lia Manoliu complex (on Basarabia blvd., no. 37-39 and Maior Ion Coravu street, no. 34-36 - but I think these two are only for professional swimmers and respectively for children learning to swim).

There are two public baths, one of Sfintii Voievozi street, no. 1 and another one somewhere in the Giulesti neighborhood, but you can't actually swim there.

Travel Tips for Bucharest

Modern Bucharest-Europa House

by edvin_br

This is another one of my favourite shiny buildings in Bucharest. It was completed at the beginning of the 21 century and considered as one of the top A class office buildings in the city. The headquarters of the giant mobile company Orange is situated in the buildng.

Tipping at restaurant or pubs...

Tipping at restaurant or pubs is arround 10 percent. For any kind of advice about entertainment or sightseeing ask a teenager (16-30). For cultural activities and art exhibitions, ask people about 30-45.

The Monasteries around Bucharest 1

by Romanian_Bat

Cernica Monastery lies 13 km. off Bucharest on the road leading to Constanta, then on a deviation towards Fundeni – Oltenita. It was founded in 1608, being rebuilt many times, with the actual building of the church dating from 1831-1842. In the graveyard that lies further down from the monastery, there is a small church (St. Lazar) and some interesting tomb stones.

Pasarea Monastery lies 20 km. east of Bucharest, in Cozieni Village. The monastery was raised in 1813 and rebuilt in the actual shape in 1847. In one of the nuns’ cells to the right there is a small museum with icons and fine embroideries. The church is surrounded by an entire village of small and picturesque cottages belonging to the nuns. Down the slope towards the lake, to the south, there is a narrow bridge that leads to a small but interesting “troita”.

St. Nicholas – Balamuci Monastery lies near Sitaru Village, 40 km. north-east of the city on the secondary road via Stefanestii de Jos. Around year 1600 there was built a small wooden church made of oak. Then the actual church was built under the rule of Michael the Brave in 1627. The frescoes were done in 1752 and they are appreciated by researchwers in comparison with the frescoes of the monasteries in Northern Moldavia, especially Voronet. As a special remark, the monastery follows strictly the life on Mount Athos, as monks never eat meat, the Liturgy is held on a daily basis and there are masses every night from midnight to 3 AM.

Perfect place to drink and relax.

by Dizzyhead about Azzurro.

Well, you can both sit outside and inside. I preferred to stay outside and just enjoy my red wine. I liked this place a lot, so if I go back to Bucharest and if I will be very close to this restaurant, I will definatelly go there. Inside it is also very nice and and during the football season you can sit here and watch football at the same time you eat. They have very traditional Romanian food here and it is very delicious. But the negtaive thing is that, they dont serve you any Romanian beer here. Casual.
