A: "That hostel is about one km away from the main bus station, I don't think you need to take a taxi."

Near the train station

After the long train ride from Suceava to Sighisoara I was in desperate need of a shower and comfortable bed. This hostel is located 50 M from the train station and it is better organized and cleaner than the other highly rated hostels on the street. I stayed here for 3 days and I highly recommend it.

Unique Quality: They offer 24 hour reception, English/German/Italian/Spanish/French speaking staff, free tourism brochures and a big garden for bbqs. The free washing and laundry is a huge bonus.

Opinion of Price: least expensive

Nice and cheap hostel

This is a nice hostel with nice owners and staff. We went in winter, so it was quite empty. Me and my friend had a four-bedded room all for ourselves. The room had tv and a private bathroom. It has cooking facilities as well as a free "laundry" (washing machine). During our stay at Sighisoara we wanted to visit some towns that are not very far away... 40-60Km. We were able to rent a car (and driver) from the hostel for the whole day, and he took us to every place we wanted to see. One of the good things is that is right next to the train station. We had to take a night train to Budapest so we waited at the hostel and 10 minutes before the departure we walked to the train station. Oh, by the way... we paid 6 euros each for the room.
