Hotel Dvina: Looks better inside than outside

I had a comfortable single room for R 700 (first they wanted to give me a more expensive one) with shower/toilet, TV, fridge, heating device (it's cold in September). Don't hesitate to ask for another blanket if your cold. People were very friendly.

There is a supermarket with a good selection right next to the hotel. The ATM in the supermarket only gives 5000 R.

Dvina hotel: The most central hotel in Arkhangelsk

This is a hotel which was built as back as during the Soviet period. Now it's quite reconstructed but still has the Soviet architecture style. Inside it's rather comfortable rooms of very different level. The hotel has 236 completely repaired and recently put into operation rooms including single (111) and double-rooms (49), demi-luxury (51) and luxury (24), VIP-apartment (9). All rooms are equipped with long-distance and international phone communication, a cable-TV, refrigerator and different accessories. There is an independent hot water supply system in the hotel. The hotel has a conference-hall for 25 seats, bar, dentist office, solarium, hairdressing saloon, massage saloon, beauty parlour, airlines and railways booking offices. They have this system when breakfast is included but you are free to choose if you want it or not.

This hotel is unique first of all because of its location in the central part of the city. Convenient location in the city centre, availability of urban transport, administrative centre, banks, supermarket, central department store, restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood are also attractive factors, especially for persons on business trip

Pur-Navolok hotel: Place to stay in Arkhangelsk

This is a very good hotel of 2 buildings. One of them is built in 2003 and is very modern. The service and comfort is of rather high quility. It is a little bit more expensive but of course it costs those money. B&B included. The hotel has 234 modern rooms (from 13 till 113 sq.meters), including single- and double-rooms, luxury and business - luxury, VIPs - luxury, and also rooms for non-smokers, rooms for people with the limited physical ability and rooms for just married. In every room there is a bed of queen or king size, international-calls phone, satellite TV, a mini-bar, the button for a call of the personnel, in a bathing room - a floor with heating, a hair drier, toilet accessories.

Pur-Navolok is located at the historical place. From here, from cape of Pur-Navolok, at the end of XVI century the city Arkhangelsk began to develop. Its administrative, business and cultural centre here has grown. Today here there are no industrial enterprises. The wonderful view to Severnaja Dvina is opened from here.
