Slavyanka Hotel

While this hotel is not in a lovely setting, I found the accomation very comfortable, clean, and the service was excellent. We were there for only a few days, but long enough to get to know some of the staff. When we asked for breakfast in our room, they brought us wonderful sliced meats, cheeses, a sort of fresh tasting slaw, and beautiful little pastries.

Unique Quality: There is internet service in the room at no extra cost. It is not wireless, but all you have to do is get the log in and password from the reception desk. It may take a bit of gentle persistence for the receptionist to understand what you need, but hey, unless you speak Russian...

I also liked that the floor in the bathroom was heated, and the mirror was also heated so that it didn't fog up when I took a shower. Not bad!
