Astrus hotel
Stayed there from 7th to 13th October 2010. The hotel is located 20 minutes away from Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station by foot- and another 20 minutes from the station to the city center. It's a good choice considering its price per night (I paid ~€50). The room was big and clean, but quite hot even for Autumn. The staff, many of them, do not speak English.
Unique Quality: SPA, Bowling, fitness, 3 restaurants and other shops.

Central House of Tourist
Central House of Tourist Hotel: (33 floors, 547 rooms) built in 1980 and renovated in 1996. The hotel is situated in Leninsky prospect. 30 minutes drive to the Red Square and 50 minutes drive from the Sheremetyevo International Airport, 20 minutes drive from Vnukovo airport, 30 minutes from Kievsky railway station.
